The National Archives attributes a
great importance to the updating and continuous training of the professionals.
It holds, alone or in collaboration with other institutions
or ministries, meetings, study round sessions and training sessions in the
field.
The year 2001 witnessed the organisation of a study round session on the
classification systems (February 2001), a high-level session for trainers
related with current records management (classification) and the application of
a records appraisal schedule (June 2001). Directed by two Canadian experts, this
session grouped about
thirty specialists from different ministries.
The National Archives equally took part in study round sessions held by public
ministries or bodies such as the Tunisian Society for Water Exploitation and
Distribution (October 2001), Ministry of Youth, Childhood and Sports (November
2001), Ministry of Agriculture, Municipality of Sfax, etc…
